cancer remission: having a strong reason to live
Having a strong reason to live is vital to your cancer remission, as this is the will and motivation that is going to push you when the going gets tough. You need a clear reason and focus on why you want to live.
For example, if it is because you want to see your children grow up then picture yourself experiencing happy life events with them. Amplify this picture in your mind and make a firm commitment to yourself that you will be well and happy as you experience these life events.
Write down your goal of getting well and your reason to live, then start each day by being grateful for as many things as possible and say your goal out loud and then visualise your happy outcome with as much positive feelings as you can muster. Then repeat the process at then end of each day.
